Acer Tablet A100 and A500 also be able to update the Android ICS
After many vendors who claim that their products will be provided updates to Ice Cream Sandwich, it seems Acer did not want to miss. Both tablets are owned by Acer, Acer Iconia Acer Iconia Tab A100/101 and A500/501, reportedly will soon get these updates in mid-January 2012.
This news also allows for updates to the Android 4.0 for its range of products other tablets, such as the Motorola Xoom and Asus Transformer. According to product manager for the Android, all the tablets that are operated using OS Honeycomb now supposed to be able to also run the Ice Cream Sandwich. But the difference is very great OS code is dubious enough, Honeycomb (2.3) while the Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0). It is emphasized also when the device is capable of running a custom UI, of the latest OS will be compatible.
