Mobile Developer famous Steve Troughton-Smith's successful hacking of system command based voice, Siri, to iPhone 4. He forced the Siri code and a variety of needs required to the home screen. The voice command works well with natural language questions, answering system was running well. The main obstacle is the loss of graphics acceleration.
Apple does not explain why the Siri exclusive only for the iPhone 4S and maybe they'll lose the argument that the iPhone 4 is not capable of running this network-based command system. Some speculations assume that this is a matter of simply setting higher than the required specification. Siri might not require A5 dualcore processor, but the ability to more dual core processor will help the level of its responsiveness.
